A systems thinking approach to inclusive governance (Discover Global Society, 2025)

A collaborative piece, proofread as a co-author by Dr Amanda Ramsay, in partnership with four other academics, coproducing a pan-European Green Deal project, Greengage. This article advocates integrating systems thinking into inclusive urban governance, emphasising citizen participation, co-creation, and multi-scale policymaking. It highlights the importance of digital tools, feedback loops, and stakeholder collaboration across policy stages to enhance equity, responsiveness, and sustainability, addressing urban challenges, such as inequality and climate change, through participatory, adaptive, and holistic approaches.
